This digital platform, launched in September 2020, is an initiative born of extraordinary circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. Conceived during a time of uncertainty and constraint, it initially served as both a conclusion and a testament to the semester: gathering, showcasing, and archiving the department's extensive teaching and research activities from those challenging months.

The D-ARCH’s shift to online research and teaching – due to the global pandemic situation in 2020/21 – turned out to be a significant success. Still, the confinement was far from easy. Many of us faced significant challenges, depending on the level of income and isolation, the living and working conditions at home, etc. If we were successful under the conditions, it is due to the engagement of entire D-ARCH community: the Students, Mittelbau, Professors and Staff who made it possible.

From 2025 onwards, the platform has been further developed to meet evolving needs, adapting to new technologies and expanding its scope to showcase recent extraordinary Master's Theses of the D-ARCH.
